HinnyHoosier Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Shane Steichen is doing a really nice job of heating up his seat. Putting a very struggling QB in that position when trying to close out a terrible first half deep in your own territory is absolutely brainless. Hollywood Mike Miranda 1 Quote
Josh Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Ok, not hyperbole. Anthony Richardson is the worst qb I've ever seen. His accuracy is atrocious, his decision making is atrocious, his health is atrocious. Trade him now. WayneFleekHoosier and thebigweave 2 Quote

Ballard staked his reputation on this guy. If he wants to save his job he needs to sit Richardson thebigweave and bigrod 2 Quote

Can chuck it 50 yards but the receivers don’t get a read on his long ball. He’s bad. If you was less injury prone and he could be a Cam Newton that would be fine, but as a pocket passer, it’s just so bad. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Demo Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Ok, this Richardson thing doesn’t pass the smell test. No way it’s on field play. They didn’t hire a HC specifically to develop a young QB and then consciously draft a total ball of clay to pull the chute in roughly 10 games. Nope. They’ve seen something up close, be it maturity, lack of leadership, mental processing, something, that they think’s a dealbreaker. thebigweave 1 Quote

He stinks as a pocket QB. With his injury history, etc, and the need to protect him, the advantages he offers are null. He can launch that ball but the routine plays aren't there. I mean, if he's your guy you suffer through it, but he just doesn't seem to have it imo. I'm fine with moving on. thebigweave 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Flacco starting this week. Told a friend when Flacco first signed that he would be starting over a healthy Richardson at some point this season. Would have been easy money if I ever gambled. thebigweave 1 Quote

It's because he voluntarily tapped out of the game on 3rd and goal because he was tired. He absolutely should be benched. That can't happen. Quote
Josh Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Richardson is so inaccurate that sometimes his receivers don't go for the catch because they think it's for somebody else. He doesn't miss by inches or feet, he misses by yards. The last drive of the game against Houston was a masterclass in stupid play. He ran to the sidelines, but didn't get out of bounds. So there went our last time out. Then he passed across the middle twice with no timeouts. Then he spiked the ball with less than a second on the clock. After the official decided to put a second back for some reason, he took a sack. Every part of that was dumber than ****. Add the part where he subbed himself out on 3rd and goal because he was tired and he deserves his benching. Dude is inaccurate, dumb, and a *****. Hopefully some dumb team like Oakland will trade us something for him thebigweave 1 Quote

He has done nothing but stack mediocrity on bad on mediocrity. His way of building the team is making them irrelevant year after year. Time to move on to someone who has a set and is willing to make big time decisions. Quote

KingPG21 Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 The lack of patience of this organization is hilarious. Just keeo going 9-8 and bring in 38+ y/o dudes. Don't draft another QB cause you don't have the patience to see it out. Quote

It might be a patience problem, but it just feels like a AR-is-not-as-professional-as-he-needs-to-be-and-we-need-to-get-his-attention problem. At least someone thinks that. Steichen certainly implied in his statement that AR has some growth in professionalism to do. But guys like Pittman finding out about it on social media is pretty bad. Quote

Why did it take a season and a half to figure that out? They've had time and now all of a sudden everything is the exact opposite of what they have been preaching with reps. They have seen this dude day in and day out, not a peep about this. And now all of a sudden its such an issue that we have to go in the exact opposite direction. Its m9ind boggling that he has been there day in and day out, and now all of a sudden everything is different. Pittman finding out through social media is unprofessional. So whats gonna happen to someone for that. How can an organization run out and say anything about professionalism then their players find information of that magnitude through social media. This entire organization is unprofessional, and it starts at the top. I'm not completely disagreeing with you, but this organization needs major overhauls. I've been of this mindset for years. Its run horribly from the top down. I actually like Steichen quite a bit. Its unfortunate. I think he is gonna get fired at some point because of how this organization is run. He is the one dude I actually truly like within this organization. And we're probably gonna waste his first coaching experience. MemphisHoosier, WayneFleekHoosier and thebigweave 3 Quote
