RaceToTheTop Posted January 1 Posted January 1 What I see: -- defenseless receiver -- hit with crown of helmet -- defender didn't launch himself though. Don't know how they will rule. Also don't know if the fact the ball was tipped plays a part. Quote
RoadRage Posted January 1 Posted January 1 No way that is not targeting, I hate the rule but you have to enforce it, even against the SEC! Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Bad punt, could have pinned them down. Ball on the Arizona State 21, two time outs for Texas, 57 seconds. Quote

I think it was the fact that he didn't launch himself that made it a no call. He obviously wasn't trying to hit him in the head, it just kind of happened. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 1 Posted January 1 No way did Helm have the first down there...refs give it to Texas and stops the clock. Quote
Dhop Posted January 1 Posted January 1 My blind brother just called. Wanted to know if I saw something he didn’t on that no-call Quote

Hoosierfan1901 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I applaud the effort ASU, but too much cushion Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Going to OT with a Texas kicker who has no confidence now. Quote

The thing that bugs me about a no call there is that it feels so situational. I’m completely confident that in 1st qtr of an October conference game they call that all day. But they’re not calling it to decide a playoff game. Not down with that. It either is or it’s not. go iu bb, RoadRage and Dhop 3 Quote
