Doubt they’d let a sportsbook employee be a college football coach in the first place. A saw that a week after Brees was hired that the company cut ties with him. Not the other way around and not before the hire. Brees was hired on the 15th and PointsBet announced that they had cut ties with him on the 22nd. Quote

I couldn't believe Purdue compliance pushed that hire through with him still being employed by Pointsbet, but it surprisingly doesn't look like it's against the rule. College players, coaches, and staff can't even bet on overseas Cricket matches, but they can endorse those companies - unless they're in NJ. Wild. Quote
Alford Bailey Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Many very good bowl games this year. In the current landscape you really have to do some homework and figure who is sitting out though. Quote
TTT Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Enough set outs are merely exhibition games not really worth watching….similar to not worth watching professional exhibitions. Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 Some local guy news...Carson Steele from Center Grove transferred to UCLA. Whole bunch of college coaches kicking themselves for telling him he was a LB. Quote

Alford Bailey Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Looks like we want out but may be too late to cancel 2023 game. Will cost us $2 million to get out of the other 2 games. Quote

At IU football they should only schedule automatic wins in the non conference. With playing in the East every win is important so no need to schedule oisdible losses. When coaches jobs are on the line if you don't make a bowl then this is the route you should go. Quote

Allen needs all the easy wins he can get to try to salvage his job. I wonder if IU will try to get out of the ND series too? Idk why they scheduled them in the first place. IU being a crappy program needing easy wins isn’t something new. Alford Bailey 1 Quote
