RoadRage Posted January 2 Posted January 2 They may have left too much time.....but a holding penalty on Ole Miss would probably send this one to overtime! Quote
hoosierdogg Posted January 2 Posted January 2 That failed Ole Miss two point conversion early in the game has come back to bite them Quote

Despite what that turd Greg McElroy tells me, no those PI calls were not the right calls. ESPN has decided Georgia needs to advance. Hard to watch the bias. But this game has been excellent otherwise. AKHoosier and RoadRage 2 Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 That was maybe the least PI call I’ve ever seen called. Face mask aside, corner in perfect coverage againt a TE. The $$ have gotten to the headsets and said, “we can’t have Miami or Ole Miss in the championship game.” RoadRage and hoosierdogg 2 Quote

Home Jersey Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Assuming we beat Oregon, not facing the SEC champ will definitely fuel some very stupid commentary in the offseason. That said, I think the path to a title against Miami or Ole Miss is probably easier than one that includes Georgia. We are definitely the best team left IMO. So excited. This could be the year. LamarCheeks Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Why are they reviewing this? The game is over. At some point, some common sense needs to win out. Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I’m really happy for Ole Miss after dealing with the Lane Kiffin fiasco this year. Quote

LOL they're still trying...looking to see if there was any time left when the safety occurred. Watch them put 1 second back on, call a penalty on Ole Miss for people being on the field and let Georgia onside kick from midfield or beyond. RoadRage and WayneFleekHoosier 1 1 Quote

Yeah, but the argument then becomes why wasn't the SEC champ good enough to get to the game. The "but who did they beat" argument is moot. They beat who they had to beat to win. You can't beat 'em if they don't get to the game to play ya. Home Jersey 1 Quote
AKHoosier Posted January 2 Posted January 2 If I'm picking our potential opponent for the championship game I'm definitely choosing Ole Miss. Miami doesn't scare me either with their QB. OMG. I can't believe this. Home Jersey 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Yep, there's the phantom extra second. Surprised they didn't add any unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Quote

They’ve got some tough players. Enjoyed watching them compete and not fold tonight. Chambliss is good. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

Either team, Miami or Ole Miss will be a difficult game, both have chips on their shoulders and are very athletic. But I agree, I'd rather face either pf them than Georgia. Oregon of course is going to be a very tough game! Home Jersey 1 Quote

I'm trying not to count chickens before the eggs hatch but... we really should have beaten Oregon by more when we won on the road. I'll take our chances on a neutral site with our team and staff as dialed in as they are. Trophy room growing in Bloomington. That's a fact. hoosierfan6157, AZ Hoosier and RoadRage 3 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 2 Posted January 2 These refs. Investigate this crap. RoadRage 1 Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted January 2 Posted January 2 What a cluster**k. After all that, the clock operator didn't start the clock on the touch. Where are these refs from? Home Jersey 1 Quote
