Hats off to the seniors-----Yogi, Max, Z3, and Burton.  I will miss Yogi's leadership and Z's key threes. And----Max ends up being one of my all time favorites. He may have started as a Wolverine but he ended as a true Hoosier. Even as the game wound down tonight he was still out there busting threes and rebounding. And tonight may be the last time we see Troy as a Hoosier. If so---at least we saw Good Troy his last half of basketball. Don't be bitter Hoosier Nation. After we have had some time to reflect on the season--I think we will all realize how well we did under the circumstances---especially with all the key injuries. As much as I disliked Crean at the end of last season---I respect the job he did this season with this team under tough circumstances. He has earned the right to coach this team for now. If TB comes back ---which I think he will-----IU will be very good again next year. We are getting ready to add to our length, speed, and athleticism next year which we saw we need against the elite teams. If we can reel in Thon or a great graduate transfer (I am a fan of these now after getting Z3 and Max)----we are poised to get past the sweet 16 next year. Go Hoosiers!

If Bryant comes back and even if Troy leaves we will be very good next year. 25 plus wins again.

This optimism doesnt mean I think we make a FF.

I honestly think we will be better off if Troy leaves.  Frees up a spot in the starting lineup. 

Rojo/JBJ/OG/Davis/Bryant

Thats a lineup that has D and Scoring.  With Morgan,Hartman and Newkirk off the bench. 

 

Agreed. I like having the two bigs at the same time. Having Troy in a "leadership" position next year is kind of scary. However, I think he should return. As much as I hate Troy; I love him just as much. I hope De'Ron Davis is unable to start next year. Means we're decently deep.

IU basketball is my passion, don't know how it'll be without yogi though. Anyway, finish my job into summer, airborne school, Ranger school and then it's IUBB time again. I'm training,  to fill a void that is the lack of IU basketball. 

 

In the offseason, I ask that posters stay updated. I also ask that these players make reasonable decisions & work their tails off.

Lots of potential for next year, but the biggest x factor is Thomas Bryant. The potential of DD and TB together inside along with OG is ridiculous. Really like the direction crean has this team going in

My bad I did mean to say without. He's inconsistent as hell but an excellent player when he's on his game and I think he will only improve throughout his senior year and will be crucial in the teams success, and his defense has substantially improved, such as his performance against UK and defense against Jamaal murray

First 8 mins of the 2nd half!  CTC set him after he got hot!  Troy is the only Hoosier I ever remember clinching my ass cheeks together when he has the ball in his hands!  The reward does not exceed the risk!
