TrueHoosier62 Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I know I'm going to sound old and grouchy, (do I ever sound otherwise?), but my god what has happened to the game of college basketball?! In particular, what has happened to officiating? Isn't it their job of keeping in check, violations such as "walking", "palming", "double dribbling", "going over the back", "moving picks", etc., etc., etc? It's an embarrassment out on the court. Most of the lower seeded teams resemble little more than pick up squads from down at the "Y", with too many of the upper echelon looking nearly as bad. And yet, the officials let it go, as if they've been directed by the NCAA to do so, (actually, come to think of it, they probably have been). No doubt, this is some socially based directive to eliminate conformity to rules, which in their eyes, affects a disproportionate percentage of lower income kids. If I wanted to see this sloppy of a game, I'd watch the NBA, which is why I don't. The NCAA seriously needs to get the mop bucket out and clean up the spew. Rant over. theriverpilot Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 If UNI beats Texas A&M, the SEasy will be shut out of the Sweet 16. The NCAA committee tried to get that Texas/Texas A&M matchup in the Sweet 16 and both might not make it out of the first weekend IUsafety 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Wisconsin needs to slow down. They had success early on playing in the halfcourt, but the last few minutes they've tried to run with Xavier and now they're reeling. Quote

UNI beat Texas or this would be the committee's matchup... But UNI can knock them both out instead lol theriverpilot and IUsafety 2 Quote
AKHoosier Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Definitely pulling for Xavier now, I don't want to possibly play Wisconsin should we win this Friday. Xavier would be a tough out, but Wisconsin just has our number. Str8Hoosiers and theriverpilot 2 Quote
