southernindianahoosier Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Yeah Rabs was there. He shared that in the chat over there tonight I believe or as a tidbit. Guess they're the same thing. A lot came from it as well. Schilling and Flint are two definite pros that got thrown on the white board. Shared a few other things in some pms but nothing crazy. Still not a done deal, but personally I feel good about our chances. Can someone translate this? What's thrown on the whiteboard mean? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Cons: 1) first year head coach. 2) far(ish) from home. Those are the two big cons I can think of. Too many pros to take the time to list but you all already know them. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Archie's previous experience at Dayton vs. Drew's previous experience at Valpo - Archie wins hands down IMO. HoosierAloha, Hovadipo, Jeff_Boy_Ardee and 2 others 5 Quote

That's what I meant, sorry if it was worded weird. Just that the Garlands won't be able to see a sample size of how he does at IU before he commits. Quote

HoosierAloha Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Btown isn't too far from Brentwood though. A lot farther than Nashville but not that far. Mr. and Mrs. Garland could see more than half his regular season games if they chose to make the drive. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Duke is a small gym and it is totally rocking for each game. IUsince1980 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Lately IU hasn't been much of a basketball school. To these kids, a title in 1987 doesn't mean all that much. Sent from my SPH-L720T using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
