Are the 5 stars on the back a '76 Anniversary commemorative thing for this season, or is it part of the uniforms going forward? I think they should keep them there.

I believe it's like the worldwide soccer tradition, a star for each championship.

Looks good to me.

As long as they don't try to get fancy and ruin it like Louisville has done with what I call their cummerbund unis.

Also please just keep it to Crimson and Cream. Last time I checked Duke's school colors did not include Black. Don't care for Adidas or Nike trying to magically add in an extra color.

Duke has had black in their for quite some time. Just recently they've went back to just blue and white in some games.

Unlike probably most on here, I really like this simple look to go along with the other adidas squads.

I know Glass makes the decision on whether or not to participate in uni changes with Adidas. But honestly I think players should have the say. If Adidas has an idea then Glass should ask them about the uni's. Want names on the back? Ask the players if they do. They are the ones wearing them. They're the ones playing. We as fans are going to watch either way. None of you would stop watching if we permanently put stripes into the uni design. With some black outlining everything. Put some names on the back. And put the word "Hoosiers" on our home uni's. And "Indiana" and "Hoosiers" were in fancy script wiring.... you'd all still watch... so the players should choose. They'll have a better sense of fashion than Glass... and probably Adidas(which wouldn't be hard).

That's like saying would I love my child less if they became a hipster. I wouldn't stop loving IU basketball. I'd just die a little inside each time I watched them.

You are right, it seems like I even remember Jay Williams playing in them. I am just not a fan.

 

I am also not a fan of the crazy color sneakers and several people destroyed me on here for that.

I don't think they used to use it as much. More of just a highlight color.

I'm sure I'd be fine but part of what makes IU great in my opinion is The Hall, the script warm up shirts, the candy stripe pants and the traditional uniform. I don't want that to change to every fashion whim of that year (hence my hipster comment). That's IMO though. Others have a right to disagree

I like the whole idea of having different uniforms for certain events. I am super against names on the back of the uniforms though.

To be honest I think it'd help in our recruiting. Giving players a say in their uni's... I bet recruits would eat that up.
