Gotta stop Uthoff to win this game. If he gets open/semi open looks, he seems to be automatic from just about anywhere on the court. He can also drive to the rim and will do so if his defender loses him for a second. It's going to be a hostile crowd and a loud environment.. I'm hoping for a win but thinking we may have to wait until Sunday for that win.

Uthoff is definitely dangerous and can go off; however, if I had to choose either Jok or Uthoff to shutdown I'd go with Jok.  While Uthoff has been putting up solid numbers but he hasn't been efficient.  Jok has been putting up good numbers too but has been a lot more efficient.  If I were matching up with Iowa I would go something like this..

Woodbury - Bryant (obviously)

Uthoff - Hartman (to start but give a healthy dose of OG and JMor too)

Jok - Yogi (Yogi did well before and seemed to get under Jok's skin a bit)

Clemmons - Zeisloft (sag off on Clemmons)

Gesell - Troy (Troy is a better on ball defender than chasing shooters)

I could see Iowa trying to attack Z by putting the ball in Clemmons' hands more.  I would sag off on both Clemmons and Gesell to cover Jok/Uthoff coming off (moving) screens.  Whenever OG sees the floor I might put him on Gesell for a few possessions to try and get a few baskets off turnovers.

If you have the time and can't wait for the game, check out the previews over at Black Heart, Gold Pants (Iowa's SB Nation). They're actually pretty great (and the recent one really likes us).

Just scroll to "Players to Watch" for a breakdown of our starters and bench (the preview is from the last match-up)
