(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Recommended Posts

Believe it or not, NO.

Compare it to last year with the talent we actually had.

Compare it to the aftermath of Kelvin Sampson.

Things can be worse. Things can be better. Keep it in perspective, remember that Rome wasn't built in a day (some cliche for those of us who might need it), and you'll see which way this is headed.

That's for all of us here, myself included.

3 of the worst losses in Indiana history this season. Not hyperbole.

Yeah, your are correct in that we can only go up (except some type of scandal).

I honestly feel Archie will build a winner but it's just frustrating to project it at the rate I see it.

3? You counting the Rutgers loss as one of the worst losses in history?

3? You counting third Rutgers loss as one of the worst losses in history?

The other 2 are for certain. Statistically. Losing to the last placed laughing stock in a tournament setting is REALLY bad. Worst 3? Arguably. But probably not. Although, I can't in my mind think of a more embarrassing loss than this one aside from the other 2 I mentioned.

Losing to northeastern and Loyola(MD) at home were more embarrassing to me then losing to a Rutgers team on a neutral court that beat seton hall this year and lost in OT to Michigan st at the Breslin center. None of them were fun to watch. For me nothing would of changed if we won those 3 games you mentioned. IU would of been a 19-12 mediocre team instead of a 16-15 mediocre team that had very noticeable flaws and holes. IU would of still not beaten a tournament quality team all year (i guess u could say Notre Dame) and would of been no where near the bubble

As always, a total lack of tact and self control out of JA.

No way he's credentialed, right?

To young Mr. Langford:

If it's shots you want - we've got 'em.  If it's PT you want - we have plenty to offer.  Plenty of exposure, outstanding fan support, and great coaching are waiting for you in one of the most lovely campuses (campi?) in America.  Come on up and be all that you can be (apologies to the U.S. Army).

Seriously though, a close look at how our team played will show that there would be great opportunity for any incoming freshman to get shots and make plays.  We didn't have much in the way of good shooting, but the offense got shots, and without stellar PG play.  With RP coming in, that area should be improved.
