(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Recommended Posts

“Ok guys, halftime is over with so we need to make sure we shoot it in the other basket down by where we sit this time, ok? We have 20 minutes again to play basketball. I’ve got you 5 guys starting the half, so the rest of you make sure you sit on the bench, alright? Remember what I taught you guys...if you make a basket, we get points. Now let’s go!”
Anchor down baby. Final four here we come.

BTW if it was up to Tim solely, IU would have had this wrapped up already but it's not. It's great but Romeo is the one we need to sell.

Seems like good news, but this is what worries me.  How has he not been sold on IU vs Vanderbilt yet?  Has he really seen more out of Vandy than IU, especially over the last month and a half?  How could someone like the opportunity at Vandy more than IU?

If after this season he's still favoring Vanderbilt, I just don't know how we can all of a sudden change his mind.

Unless he's considering Kansas a lot harder than most of us realize.

Simple answer is that ever since he cut his list to 3 and said he would watch all 3 coaches throughout the year and make a decision after his high school career was over that he is honestly doing what he and his family has said all along and isn’t leaning anywhere despite what outsiders say who is leading. Kansas, Vandy, and IU all still have a shot. But in the end people will read what they want. Some will read that IU is in the lead while others will read that Vandy is clearly where he will end up and others will say never count out Self when it comes to 5 star spring recruitments

Not sure why it lumped USPS with this but I didn't mean Romeo isn't sold on IU. Just that regardless of who loves where ultimately it's Romeo's choice not Tims or Darius's or Coach Shannons

Bryce Drew: "The school that Romeo commits to, is the school he will go to. If he comes here, we will let him shoot the ball. And if it goes in, we get 2 or 3 points. It's important that he puts his jersey on before the game so we know that hes on our team. Its also important that he dribbles or passes the ball sometimes too. If 2 people are guarding him, then 3 guys are not."

Not surprisingly  you forgot about free throws Bryce.

Zach McRite, a sothern Indiana radio announcer who's done New Albany games has been saying all he's heard in southern Indiana is Hoosiers, Rabjohns confirmed that is the word down south. Take it fwiw.

He makes me cringe an Assembly Call....just not a smooth analyst at all.

He's not the best on Assembly Call but I listened to a radio broadcast and he wasn't bad. Regardless, he's connected and knows what he's talking about, especially in southern Indiana.

Breaking news: Vandy losses again in front of a crowd & atmosphere that could rival a IU tennis match

What's funny is that their 2 best players by far, who combined for 36 tonight, are both seniors. Fisher-Davis who is their other top player is a senior too.  Romeo would have to be nuts to go to that dumpster fire.
