If New Albany doesn’t get bye & makes state finals, he’ll need to average 38.5 to catch Damon Bailey.  If they get the bye, 42.7.    That's from twitter so  maybe accurate or not.

My server tonight at Dinner was named Damon. My father asked him what his name was because he is old and can't read/see. Lol. Anyway, server responds, "it's Damon, you know like Damon Bailey, my father loves IU basketball".

Good ole Indiana basketball.

So hopefully, my kids can be served at restaurants by Romeos in the future.

I really think he is. The only player above him that is on his level is RJ Barrett. And even then, I think Romeo is better. The guy can do this every single game

RJ Barrett is better, Romeo is a close second though. I just think a few of these guys have more potential because of their height and strength which is all rankings are based upon

Tough, tough young man. Don't know him personally but seems to be a wonderful human being. If not for injuries I think he would have had a good pro career. Saw him play one time in high school and beyond his physical abilities you could just tell that his basketball IQ was head and shoulders above anyone else on the court.

I don't think he has to really worry all that much about cheap shots given how in awe of him most of the opponents are but there is a really simple way to avoid it: don't keep him in the game once New Albany has a 40 point lead on some hapless team.

Nah. These teams have pride. There was a YouTube vid of a game earlier this year where they were fouling him hard and calling him soft. Romeo just plays and doesn't get rattled. Crazy cool head.
