Kansas fans weren’t really lighting up his twitter. Vandy has no fans. Romeo doesn’t do a lot of that tbh. When he does something it usually has meaning, not ego pumping. I truly don't think any money has been pushed the Langford's way, but, what I see that may be happening is that Adidas has guaranteed Romeo a nice shoe deal if things fall into place and Romeo indeed fulfills all expectations of becoming a high draft choice. What people don't realize is that Pitino and Louisville wasn't the ones paying Bowen. It was Adidas who pushed and paid Bowen to choose UofL. Louisville is pretty much the flagship school for them. 160 million dollar contract over 10yrs. Verbals between the Langfords and Adidas may be in place now, but nothing shoveled their way until Romeo turns pro. I have been a long time supporter of the Romeo to IU train. As long as anyone on here. I also live in NA, went to NA, and reside in the same neighborhood as Romeo. I've watched him play dozens of times and have casually spoken to both he and his parents on sevetal occasions. The love that he has been feeling from all of the IU faithful throughout the state may be tipping point that turns him ultimately our way. I'm sorry, I just can't see him spending hrs after every game autographing every 6yr olds IU basketball jersey knowing that he is not going there. I guarantee he has signed more IU memorabilia than any current player on this team. I don't claim to have any inside info on this recruitment, but I promise you that NO ONE else on here does either. IUHAHN81 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 It's so hard not to believe IU is the obvious and best choice. Arch has done a great job so far with Indiana kids. I hope since he didn't commit to Vandy when Garland did that it somehow puts us in a better place giving him a chance to see Vandy suck it up and IU somewhat turning things around at this point. The chance to have a great supporting cast coming in next year and he can still be the main go to guy. Just so easy to fall into the trap of IU being the spot. Iugradman and BGleas 2 Quote

Any time you get a kid to travel their Senior year is a cherry on top.
