I may have to rewatch to verify but if my memory is correct they were especially tough on RoJo from the opening tip... I believe he got the ball on the first pass and it was immediately extra loud ... sounded like BOOOO on the TV but they could have been chanting something else... Quote

HoosierTrav Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Kyle Cox never coached Yogi, did he? I thought he was only coached by Ed Schilling. He only played for Ed Schilling, the now assistant coach at UCLA. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 On last night's CTC radio show, Ryan Burton made a comment that the team doesn't have time for much of a social life. I hope with the season winding down that the intensity level of practice would taper. Yes, we lost to PSU, but I'm not sure a grueling practice on Sunday night was the answer. Even for the upper classmen, they have to be feeling the wear and tear of the season and at this late date, more practices and/or harder practices aren't going to cure this teams flaws. With all the experts around Crean, why are we even discussing this? Hearing this plus his post game comments about him admitting he didnt pay attention to the details of the game are inexcusable and great examples why Penn St beat us. LIHoosier Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I've seen multiple comments about this from the team. I think a player in a previous week's radio show even mentioned it. Max mentioned it in the B1G Media pressers comparing Beilein to Crean. “Coach Beilein has a month’s schedule printed out for us in advance,” Bielfeldt said Oct. 15 at Big Ten Media Day in Rosemont, Illinois. “(With) Coach Crean, you get a text three hours before practice.” MikeRoberts, Hovadipo, Class of '66 Old Fart and 1 other 4 Quote
VO5 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 In regards to Rojo, PSU students pick a random player at the start of each game and boo him throughout. Man, if that practice being scheduled at random times is true it just makes me want Crean gone that much more. He just doesn't get it. These are 18-22 year old kids. They need proper planning and schedule times from their leader, not spur of the moment crap. Really pisses me off MikeRoberts and Alford Bailey 2 Quote

Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Albers writing that Crean typically follows a system of tapering off practices as the season progresses... Odd. http://www.scout.com/college/indiana/story/1641349-iu-shakes-loss-grueling-practice Quote
