Amazing effort by the whole team, so close on that goalline stand at the end of regulation.  Great fight!

 

Lets remember that its never been like this where we have challenged every team we faced and top ranked teams - Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, and Michigan.  This team is trending upwards, have to like that.
 

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  It's easy to say the program is trending upwards and that there's hope, but a loss is still a loss and at some point you have to start fulfilling that and turning in Ws otherwise hope of a better future is empty.  We're not fulfilling the hope right now, and we're rapidly reaching the point where saying things are looking better won't make it true.

Honestly Knorr hasn't been the least bit impressive either.

I haven't been impressed with Knorr either.  Sure he's better than Mallory was, but it's difficult to not be better than Mallory.

If we had a competent secondary we'd be a top 25 team. Most of the TDs were uncontested gimmies. Not sure why we do not learn from that pattern all year and make necessary adjustments.
