HoosierHoops1 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 But nothing untrue? Seriously though, I can surely find some comments like that, and tons saying he was going to be an all-star. That's simply the nature of having a large group of diverse fans discussing a topic. I mean, who wants to go into the April or Priller thread and find the people talking about how Crean may have done it again with a diamond in the rough and how everyone was wrong last time they discounted whatever player. It's just the nature of discussions between multiple humans. Other than jumping, what evidence did you see that it was true? One of them actually "did not see the floor". As to your 2nd point. Agreed. Quote

Popular Post Hovadipo Posted November 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2015 Evaluation from the Indiana Top 80 Camp: No. 64 6’6 ’16 Grant Gelon of Crown Point/ Crown Point HS The IU commit did what he was known for and that was shoot. As a matter of fact, he’s a great shooter. He always knows where to be when running the floor to spot up for the 3. Gelon has an excellent shooting touch and mechanics and every shot looks like it is going in. In addition, Gelon knows how to work well with the big man off the ball screen. He has a great attitude and work ethic and advanced understanding of the game. lillurk, WayneFleekHoosier, Walking Boot of Doom and 10 others 13 Quote
Bobman1 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I wonder if Gelon is recruiting DD, Mario, and BB to IU. That's one of the reasons I LOVE his early offer and commitment. Edit: Just for jokes sake, do not want to start anything off topic. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

IUsafety Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 is that the answer? Nope, seems to be a random number. Kris Wilkes was No. 68 I think and he is a top ten recruit nationally. Class of '66 Old Fart, Bobman1, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

Don't quote me, but it's a mix of kids from different recruiting classes, so it may have something to do with that. Best players in Indiana, regardless of class? Quote

Best players in Indiana, regardless of class? I don't think it is that. Random numbers. Because at the camp they kept referring to Wilkes as the best in Indiana, regardless of class. I saw a few highlight videos and the kids wearing numbers 1 and 2 weren't kids that were well known at all( I follow recruiting and high school basketball and didn't recognize them at all) IUsafety 1 Quote

Hovadipo Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 That's weird. Love when thinks make no sense. That's how pretty much every camp goes. At the Under Armour camp you'll get a Thon Maker wearing #257. Quote
