We need to convince him it's 2 different positions. Going to be a tough fight, but to me it's perfect. 6'8" slasher and 6'7" shooter sounds excellent to me.

Even if it's the same position Wilkes will start. If anything if we get Wilkes we should worry about Smith going elsewhere

Way I envision it is Hartman and OG. Both were expected to start. Both play some inside outside. No reason these 2 can't potentially eventually fill those voids.

Hartman is a senior, OG likely gone. McSwain and now JSmith. Add in JMo and Wilkes and that's four good players for two positions. If Wilkes commits he'll get his lions share of the minutes.

Exactly. He will start. It's a non-issue because he's going to start regardless. This addition does not affect him in any negative way.
