When I saw that article where his Dad was talking about the announcement I figured it had to do with his foundation but couldn't remember the name. Kinda thought the same about Troy when Boo came down to see him before his announcement. Kinda like silent publicity, don't blame them for doing it at all but damn is it frustrating having to wait lol.

This program hired a person to do awesome graphics and it seems to be a home run hire with all the stuff we've seen lately. Can we hire someone as a common sense monitor? There are so many questionable decisions that come from the program that makes it look like a circus.

Chad Ford is a garbage NBA guru. I wouldn't trust anything he says. If little Thomas on the Celtics can play like that at 5-8 in the NBA, then Yogi can play as well. Not saying Yogi is ready for the NBA, but he has some great skills and attributes that COULD help him as a pro.

ok, this makes sense. I don't like the idea of an announcement at a steakhouse but you can't fault the kid for trying to support his dad. This could be more about his dad, the charity and his sponsor "Ruth's Chris" than about Yogi.

Are there any NCAA violations with that, if he decided to return? Not trying to start a firestorm, but I remember something about Cody not being allowed to participate in his family's charity while he was at IU, or something about the charity not being able to promote Cody being involved. Something like that?

If this is a fundraiser for the charity, would there be any issues with using Yogi's announcement as a way to draw donations or attendance?

   He could be announcing for the pros but that just doesnt seem to make sense with his projections.

  I Hope this is just yogi being excited about the potential for this this coming season and trying to build the hype.

Something tells me that's the case and all the remarks from Mom reenforces that with me.Over the top?  Yes .

 Does this make him a bad Kid? I don't think so. Just wanting to be recognized for what he means to this team.

I agree that the way to do it would be to just get on with and after it but these are different times then what I grew up in.

Don't know about you guys, but I haven't seen a word from Yogi about this. It seems like his dad is "handling" this whole announcement.
