Also though, Jim Burr was working the stomp no call game with UK/Duke. That explains a lot too I think.

It was a love-tap at best.

I remember rooting for Duke against UNLV as well and Duke was actually my second favorite team up until the stomp and the subsequent hose job of IU in the following game.
 
It wasn't a kick, it was a clear and blatant stomp to a defenseless player flat on the ground. The stanchion incident was probably worthy of a flagrant 1 but at least debatable.

do y'all realize that IU had 4 or 5 starters foul out in that game?

I will always hold a place in Dante's inferno...in the deepest of pits for Laettner and that team...

The Duke, Notre Dame ACC tourney game was the same  in the last 7 or 8 minutes.Even the announcers were like WTF.

When you play the Dukies your playing against the refs too.

I'm afraid that's the treatment UK is gonna get the next 4 weeks.

Tbh I don't think he should have been ejected for the stomp and here's why:
1. It wasn't a hard stomp more of a tab.
2. In today's time it would have only been a flagrant 1
3. I couldn't think of a third point but felt I needed one.
It's just how I felt. The game was to big to through out one of the key players

I didn't like their on-court demeanor.  Hurley seemed to whine a lot, Parks had the "too cool" attitude.  Also, I was much younger then, and hated almost everything, lol.

Every time you watched him play you were gonna be entertained. It was like watching the Yankees play. You want them to lose but somehow they make every play to win. That was him. Dude hit so many big shots. He wanted to be like Mike.

just watched that game last night, Bailey, Henderson, Graham and Calbert all fouled out. Damon fouled out very early in the 2nd half too. gut wrenching to watch, don't know why i put myself thru it. loved that team though.

I was 4 when IU lost to ohio st in the regular season when they were ranked #1 in the 93 season. Cried myself to sleep that night and not ashamed to admit it. Loved the 92 and 93 teams.

Just watch this again and man does it make me miss this team. I went to IU 90-94 great basketball years. Still upset we didn't win a championship during my years at IU. I did have a nice constellation prize I sold my Final Four tickets for $1900. I know some of you think I'm crazy for not going to the game, but I was a broke ass college student.
