On Maryland forum I just found, they have a an array of predictions for tonight's game. Multiple people thinking MD by 15+and a few thinking by 2 or less. None thinking chance for a loss. They also had a survey on how many sports JBJ would score, the most answered was 16-20 pts.

Our forum is much more organized, and many more in-depth answers than they have. IU fans truly do know basketball better.

Or I should go back to the prediction thread from the Louisville game and seek out anyone who had us winning there. Some of you seriously lack any sense of perspective outside of being an IU fan

This weekend (Duke).... Earlier this year (Duke)... not sure on the last one...

 

I get what King is saying because as mentioned recently in other threads a lot of us will NEVER "predict" a loss on the Predictions thread, doesn't mean we are ignorant BBIQ wise...

 

At the same time I am not doubting the Pritch that IU fans do know basketball better!!!!

I'd add that I agree it is dumb to predict us losing by 20+.

Also, one of the things that made the old HSN great was it was a community where opposing fans bases could come and talk without being chased away because they aren't IU fans. Threads like this do more to discourage that type of posting rather than welcome opposing view points and perspectives

Was listening to Dakich and I wholeheartedly agree, a first year BIG team ie Maryland should not be able to waltz into a BIG arena and come out the winner in their first visit!  I guess they did that to Mich State at the Breslin Center earlier. 

 

As an aside, I did not know that the Hoosiers have won only once at the Breslin Center in 20 attempts according to Dakich.

I would be interested in what forum you visited. I would be horrified if other fanbases thought our Scout forum represented the opinions of our fan base. So it could be the same situation

We use insidemdsports.com and we use the Insider Scoop section for the best discussions (you have to pay for it). We have contributers like Scott Van Pelt and Tahj Holden on there.

And no, most of the knowledgeable fans don't expect to handedly beat you guys Thursday. I expect to lose, but I think it'll be a real tight game. I think you'd find many of our diehard fans are like yours - super frustrated for a long time since 2002 - striving to return to prominence. We hope we'be finally returned.
