Troy Williams brought the effort and energy needed to get us through the game and props to Hartman I liked the hustle factor today.

I'll get crap for this, but this game convinced me that Holt needs to get the most minutes. He went up against two seniors, Amir Williams and Anthony Lee, and came out on top. Correct me if I'm wrong, but today looked like his first big boy performance showing off his post skills against an experienced senior like AW.

Really liked JBJ, Troy, Holt, and Hartman. Yogi disappointed me with his careless passes, but he was clutch with his free throws.

OSU is a tough game for IU because of how they switch. IUs success on offense is getting the defense off our players to get to the basket. OSU is good at staying in front when they switch.

No matter what, go Hoosiers!!!!!

ugly game. Coughed up 10 point lead twice. Poor subs. Bad Zone D. Inbounds started rearing it's ugly head again. BUT, I'll take the win. I know we have some unresolved issues and likely always will but a win is a win.

Edit- plus UK has a 6 point lead now haha

Great to see JBJ respond with a better effort and get back to his normal scoring.

 

All I heard about was Russell coming into this game---but Blackmon won round one in my book and most importantly JBJ's team won the game.

 

Russell is a talent---but I don't like his whining to officials or mouthing Blackmon and our players like I saw during the game. 

 

We've got the more level headed---and classier freshman guard!

For me----Yogi had just an OK game----but I will give him a pass because he played some tough D and hit those clutch free throws.

 

Yogi and JBJ came up big down the stretch on free throws.

Blackmon going out as soon as he heated up. Then Troy around the same time. Our lead went from 10ish to 3 with them on the bench AFTER they were both feeling it on the floor. Somewhere in the range of 10-6 minutes left. Crucial time to have your HOT/best guys out.

U think Holt gets the nod at this point moving forward. Stop coddling him Creans, he has shown he is ready. However Hanner as the relief is a solid for us. Holts intangibles and wingspan push him over the top now. I'm sold finally.
