HoosierHoopster Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 UM just claws out a 4-point low scoring win over TCU. Not exactly looking like a top 10 team there Mich— and if DeVries had us top 10 ranked and stunk it up like that the Board would be all over him. woodenshoemanHoosierfan 1 Quote

Can still look unimpressive/underwhelming while doing it though. Michigan doesn't look like the #6 overall team right now after also needing OT to beat Wake Forest (56 in KenPom). TCU is 83. Sometimes you need to win ugly though. Marquette is 50 for context. Pagoda, lillurk and BGleas 3 Quote

Dusty's overall results have very good so far, and he's recruited quite well. It's possible that they don't have it all together right now, but they've toughed out some games regardless, credit to them, and they can still evolve and improve as a team and have a great year. I can't pretend to know. BUT! And I'm probably like a few others -- last year and this year I can't shake how close some of their easier games are, the odd trend of blown leads, and the lose play (turnovers). It kinda reminds me of one of our former coaches (Tom). I don't think Dusty is bad or anything like that. I am just wondering if he's just "good" and not "very good." We shall see. tkbbn, Home Jersey, thebigweave and 1 other 4 Quote
Popular Post Barrel Rick Posted November 15, 2025 Popular Post Posted November 15, 2025 hey ya'll, it's been quite some time, ain't it? to shortly explain my inactivity - as of March this year, my wife and i have gotten a divorce. to my surprise, a "girls trip" with she and her book club turned out to be a month-long getaway to a nudist reservation with Mike Woodson. our Brown County home is available on Zillow if anyone's in the market, and please continue to pray for my everlasting bowel syndrome. as for the Hoosiers this year; Wilkerson and DeVries make my little Rick tingle.. the yoppa on both of these young men sing melodies recognized only in the hushed lore of urban legend… BUT.. we have got to find a way to get that lanky motharicka from Davidson going down low.. 6'10; guy could probably jump rope with it. bow to me, i am the ******* Barrel. - Barrel Rick, 2025 sponsored by Daniel Z. Iirc, the preseason numbers don’t fully wash out until some time in December. So our 40th starting ranking is probably still weighing us down a bit. Either way, unlike Woodys teams, we need to continue to take care of our buy games and be at least competitive in our two big games non on, then we’re setup good for conference. Home Jersey 1 Quote
