5 min before.   5 pm tip-off against a NAIA team with students on break.    ISU isn’t known for attendance anyway but this is low.    First time I’ve been back to a game here in 18 years

As an alum, class of '70, even I would call that sparse. Come to think of it, that was probably the last time I went to a game, although I did see a John Mellencamp show there sometime in the early '80's.

Not if you are meeting up with old friends you haven’t seen in along time

lol, swing and a miss at a joke on my part. I was joking that you were laying down taking a nap from the picture orientation. Oh, well, sometimes jokes just fall flat.

Bowling Green beats NAIA Carlow University by 79 points, 129-50.  Bowling Green led by 53 points at half, 76-23.

Could have been worse.  No Bowling Green starter played over 20 minutes and the bench scored 69 of the 129 points. 8 different players, including 4 bench players, were in double figures.

What can you possibly learn  as a team from a game like that? How (not) to schedule?

I realize that getting games at the last minute if Covid affected the schedule have an impact, and you want your guys to play against someone other than teammates, but jeeze...

Samford is about to win at ole miss

up 3 with 4 sec to go

Maybe not.  Lol.  They didn’t block out on the missed FT.   Likes like Ole Miss ball down 2 with 3 sec to go

This game is crazy.  Ole Miss hits a long 2 to tie it up but I think it was after the buzzer.  Samford is going to win

You don’t learn, obviously.  But I think with a low D1 school it’s probably better than losing the home gate.  Guess you just have to come in with the attitude that you’ll get some guts some minutes that normally wouldn’t.
