They've lost some serious heavy hitters over the years. They're kinda like AAA baseball for the high-tier mid-major conferences. Apparently Murray State is back in the crosshairs for a new addition, which would be a good add, along with UT Arlington and Kansas City, which would not.

I do find it interesting that Banchero was arrested too and that it was his car. A sober person letting their drunk friend drive their car while they sit in the back doesn’t seem likely to me. Imo, the most likely scenario is that Banchero was more intoxicated than Coach K’s grandson so they decided he’d drive the car. But, who knows.

I also saw it was reported he was laying down in the back seats. I can't think of a reason anyone would be doing that besides being really drunk or being totally physically exhausted.

Well, not upset, but I don't think it's stupid. It's pathetic. Banchero was arrested and is charged, with aiding and abetting DWI. Not serious? It's serious. A charge of aiding and abetting DWI requires showing the person  knowingly turns over their vehicle to an impaired person (or fails to prevent the impaired person from getting behind the wheel). It was Banchero's Jeep. You think he didn't know K's grandson (blood alcohol .08) was lit? Ok. Why was Banchero letting him drive? What would virtually every other team in the country do here (ok, besides UK lol). Think Woodson would've started Banchero? Would that be something we'd like if he did (he wouldn't). No way. Yeah, pathetic.

I just still can't get over the fact that that his grandson is on a basketball scholarship. And that his daughter is an associate AD at Duke. Nepotism, anyone? 

His grandson averaged 7.3 points a game during his senior season in high school. And he gets a basketball scholarship at Duke? That's not even good enough for a roster spot on a D-III team -- let alone what's supposed to be the nation's top basketball program. 
Jeezus -- just pay for the kid's school and get the scholarship to someone who actually deserves it. With Mommy on staff, I'm sure he can get discounted tuition. If not, that family paying a year's tuition at Duke would be like anybody else going to Burger King for lunch. 
What a load of crap. 

Coach k seems like the type that don't even pay for burger King in North Carolina so he isn't paying tuition lol
