Matt Haarms is back on the court just 13 days after smashing the back of his head on the floor at Nebraska.

Purdue's concussion protocol must be a lot different than ours.

That coif Haarms has is also the equivalent of wearing 3 helmets.

Some of us can enjoy it and still be objective enough to understand it’s not a great product because of several factors. Whether it be the one and done rule continuing to take its toll, kids being more encouraged to leave early, conference realignment, the increase in transfers, no great teams, big time programs like Indiana, UCLA or UNC not being great, the shoe scandal etc. It’s been spiraling over the years. Just part of it as the talent leaves and things. Eventually it’ll plateau.

Exactly. It's possible to adore the sport at the same time recognizing it needs cleaning up in the worst way.

IUBB is my favorite sports team by far and I'll support them forever, but it's frustrating we haven't been consistently competitive due to the rampant cheating going on in the sport.  We should have had freakin' Donovan Mitchell but Adidas had him go to Louisville.  It's hard not to argue the sport is fixed.

To add to your post though, officiating and the constant reviews in the final 2 minutes really takes the fun out of a lot of the sport.  It's normal for the last 1 minute of a game to take over 10 minutes to play out.

That’s a pretty extreme example. And comparing apples to oranges. First versus third fiddle.

Not sure how that is an extreme example.  You can find those in multiple venues.

California has the highest tax rate by far...I wouldn't say the state of California is lacking in NBA titles.  In the last ten years, four NBA champions have come from Texas and Florida combined.  Five have come from California.

I certainly understand your point and agree that the NBA should address it.  I just think that it is a big of factor for the top players as is the ability to make endorsements.  You don't exactly see players flocking to play in Orlando whose tax rate is the same as Miami.

Never said it would cause players to flock but never would have had the heat super team without the tax rate.

Brooks getting away with an obvious foul at the rim followed immediately by Richards getting a call on Williams while backing him out of bounds. U of L being massively homered early.

Maybe, maybe not.  Durant went to Golden State where the state tax rate is over 13%.

Well they don't call it "Corrupt Arena" for nothin'. One of the reasons why I'd hate IU to play there.

Also something about all that blue just initiates my gag reflex...

It would be great if both teams could loose. I actually have more respect for UK’s program. UofL is a cesspool. Or maybe they’ve just been caught more recently... not that it matters...

Correct on both accounts. This game however is just a MESS. Officials killing any kind of momentum.
