My first post on this was about the clip of UH players angrily kicking things going into the tunnel because of an obvious goal tend - that is what they were angry about. You responded you disagree. Ok, i disagree, the clips i’ve seen show what appears to be a goal tend, and a lot of people saw it that way. And for what it’s worth, that people are still talking about it shows it was an issue - refs got it right or wrong, game is over either way. But you know, I don’t care one way or the other, i simply said that’s what the UH players were angry about. If this is about who is right - i really don’t care. Quote

Is it really out of line to....you know....debate an important play in a game involved two high level programs? And if none of matters anyway, please refer to what have put in bold face in your post. It's obvious it still matters to you who is 'right' since you refer to it as an 'obvious goal tend' and 'a lot of people saw it that way'. If you watch the video and think it's a goal tend....I don't know what to say to you, because it's not. woodenshoemanHoosierfan 1 Quote

He has been horrible at Nebraska and they are no better three years in (and maybe worse) than when he started. They are so far the worst team in the Big Ten since he got there. He brought in better players this year but cannot develop them which sounds familiar. Miles was not great but he was competitive, while Hoiberg has been terrible. Husker's version of Crean to Archie. To compare Miles had a (barely) winning record against IU. Hoiberg is 0-5 against us when we have not exactly been great either. Says all you need to know. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 Guess it depends on what "some people" means. My guess is a dozen or so people in Lincoln, Nebraska ... Just out of curiosity, who is the best coaching duo in the B1G? It'd be hard to beat the Ryan Day-Chris Holtmann tandem, perhaps with Juwan Howard-Jim Harbaugh as a distant runner-up ... I also thought they'd be doing a little better at this point, but I think the ranking of their 2021 class was pushed way up by getting Bryce McGowens whose brother was already on the team. I would hope they didn't have to cheat to get that commitment with such a strong family connection in place, but who knows. Could also be some sort of transfer violations since Hoiberg commonly uses that route. Quote
go iu bb Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 I hope Hoiberg survives this. It's nice having him at Nebraska since games against his teams there have all been wins for IU. I don't want them to bring in someone better. 8bucks 1 Quote
