IUfan_Charlie Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 The Big Ten is so bad man. Just getting stomped. Dizz 1 Quote

The only chance Big 1.0 teams have against more talented teams is playing great team ball but they have failed miserably to do that in this tourney. IUc2016 1 Quote

TheWatShot Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I think the top 14 SOS rankings on Kenpom being the entire Big Ten should have been a giveaway that there's something screwy with all the metrics. There's just no way this conference was that much tougher than anywhere else. Evariste Galois 1 Quote

Illinois was the one B1G team I thought would do well in March but even they got destroyed. I do think UM would go far if they had Livers but without him... we will see. Quote
Hoosier Guy Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I think it’s funny. Iowa is almost always overrated. No way they should’ve been a 2 seed. I mean they lost to IU both times. Iowa isn’t that good Quote
IU - Kaulie Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I wish it was a Wellness Day for me. Are the Ducks going to drop 100 on them? Quote
IUc2016 Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Illinois and Iowa's best teams in well over a decade and they can't even get out of the first weekend. Pretty comical Quote
reconmkd Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Iowa getting embarrassed! Was hoping the Franimal would make an appearance, that would be icing on the cake! Quote

IUc2016 Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Fran was just extended through the 2028 season. lol Quote
Uspshoosier Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Fran has never coached past the round of 32 Dana Altman and the Ducks, 296th in game pace, deciding to get in a track meet with Iowa gives me the Knight feeling when he decided to get in a track meet with UNLV Class of '66 Old Fart, Str8Hoosiers and thebigweave 3 Quote

IUfan_Charlie Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Damn Garza is bumming me out. He was too good to get bounced like this. Hope he can surprise and carve out a nice role in the league. Hardwood83 1 Quote

DMGHOOPS Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 I think that the B1G teams staying in the NCAA bubble for the extra week after the B1G tournament ended has negatively affected the B1G teams. This is probably the reason for the losses more so than not being able to compete against these other teams. Live and learn I guess... Quote
NashvilleHoosier Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Yeah whatever it is that needs to change as a conference, let's lead the charge. I still don't understand (or maybe a better word is buy) the concept that one particular league is supposed to be the best overall and be made up of several great teams but the league plays in a way and is officiated in a way that is detrimental to tourney success. If the league was and teams were great, adjust, and be great. Until some change happens, it's really just the Big Ten being a fraud. Quote
