More on Emmert and the NCAA had notice of problems at MSU.

Kathy Redmond, founder of the National Coalition Against Violent Athletes, gave Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic a copy of a letter dated November 17, 2010, which she sent to Emmert to urge him "to better protect women with new, stronger gender violence policy measures."

Auerbach specifically highlighted the letter's fourth paragraph, which cited reports of sexual violence involving two Michigan State basketball players:

"For example, despite recent reports of sexual violence involving two Michigan State University (MSU) basketball players, one of which admitted to raping the victim, neither man was charged criminally or even disciplined by the school. An earlier report of similar violence involving two other MSU basketball players also went un-redressed. In the past two years alone, 37 reports of sexual assault by MSU athletes have been reported, but not one disciplinary sanction was imposed by school officials against any of the men involved."

It would probably be a good idea to, but I’m good with it either way.

Universities should have no role in handling sexual assault allegations. Let the courts/law enforcement handle them.

I will admit Title IX is so screwed up and the concept of due process is screwed up because the universities don't allow students to tell their stories because the universities rule against the accused. The preponderance of evidence factor is screwed up also because the universities can use a small amount of evidence to rule against the accused.

Colleges screw it up for both sides. The accused can be thrown out of school without due process. The accuser can have their accusation dismissed because the accused is someone important. Just let the police handed it. They're the ones trained to deal with these situations.

I agree with this and I can speak on this from a personal experience and what my sister's case involved was so stupid. The university screwed up both my sister and her friend over a Craig's-list posting. Really what it came down to was that the complainant wanted playing time because she wasn't getting it and my sister and her friend played the same positions that they both played.

So watching the Baylor-Florida game, Dickie V is calling it. Man, this dude is beyond ignorant to the worst cheaters in the sport, on there praising Bruce Pearl.

I remember him praising Larry Brown too.  "He cares about the kids!  He cares about his players!"

He always sides with shady coaches, bothers the hell out of me.
