I think he is going to struggle. He's never played big minutes and is foul prone. Knowing those things and that he has no backup, teams are going to go at him all season. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app I think part of that was due to him not being in basketball shape and adjusting to the speed of the game. He missed all of last summer so I think being here all summer this year can help him make that jump. He might not put up those kind of numbers but he should be able to get the fouling under control and put up double figures. Class of '66 Old Fart, mdn82, ALASKA HOOSIER and 2 others 5 Quote

As hf2017 said, he got a very late start. By the time you find out you're not in college shape, it's too late to get into shape during the season. In high school he was a monster shot blocker. I think that mentality, while also being a step behind in conditioning probably led to a lot of his fouls. Freshman bigs always seem to draw an inordinate amount a fouls. I was so worried about it before Cody's Freshman season. Hoosierfan2017 and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

I was so worried about it before Cody's Freshman season.I think he will be alright too, just going to struggle a bit adapting to a bigger role with way more minutes and little support at the 5. There was a prediction of "15 &. 8" that I had responded to. Those numbers are all conference type numbers and I don't see that at all. If he does 10 & 6 I will be happy and surprisedSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

If IU finishes 12th in the B1G (unless there are major contributing factors- like a meteor strike) Miller should be on the hot-seat. No, I'm not kidding. I don't expect top 3, but he has more then enough to avoid the bottom 3. Lol I figured new coach, new attitude. In all seriousness though I fully expect a top half of the Big 10 finish. Anything worse is a Tom Crean type of result imo, and we definitely didn't hire Archie for that. Josh 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Anyone see this video of Lamelo Ball on Twitter today? He's the kind of player that makes his teammates give no effort because they know they won't see the ball. Lonzo's the only one of the three that'll make the NBA imo. The other two will get crushed by their dad's hype. You could tell the guys on the other team wanted to go after Lamelo every possession. ALASKA HOOSIER and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Shocking how much O$U has crumbled last few seasons considering Thad's career. Also, could end up being very unique/lucky timing regarding Archie. Lastly Bazleys recruiting comment and stance would be so demoralizing to a program. Very curious to hear this news.
