rayl456 Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 I hate seeing Siakam and Toppin handling the ball. Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 Pacers have shot themselves in the foot in the fourth quarter but the refs gave the pacers no chance either. HoosierHoopster 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 Pacers were up 10 with the ball twice, only to have Toppin miss two free throws and Siakim miss a long 2 while everyone stood around. Had a feeling that would come back to haunt. taco corp 1 Quote

If the league could script things, these are the teams that would never sniff a title: Indiana, OKC, Sacramento, Portland, New Orleans, Utah, Milwaukee. Two of them are in the Finals this year. That’s a business model nightmare. And btw… those are quite literally the best basketball referees on the planet. J34 1 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 The NBA desperately needs a new face of the league after LeBron/Curry retire. It won’t be SGA because an unethical hooper will never have mass appeal, but it’s easy to see why the NBA would favor OKC winning to try to push him into that spot. We all just saw the NBA blatantly rig the draft, so influencing the Finals through officiating isn’t a stretch at all. J34 and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote

The pushoff/creating separation and the blatant travel, are not "missed" at my grandsons biddy ball league. The league is a joke, and it has been for years. Hoosierfan2017 and AZ Hoosier 1 1 Quote

Psshh… Foster and Donaghy were close friends but there apparently was zero evidence that Foster was involved in gambling. Insinuating against or assailing Foster based on zero evidence other than they were friends who talked on the phone? No sir. And taking a two second clip out of a 48 minute game with three refs, playing it in slow motion, and using it as an example of any ref’s supposed incompetence is pretty weak sauce IMO. These are world class athletes playing at full speed and in constant contact with each other, and frequently in the sight lines of referees. To say that over the course of any game some calls can be second guessed is completely irrelevant to the quality of refereeing. Quote
