I remember following Btown on twitter for a while. I created an Indiana sports blog last February (AllHoosiers, which I now really can't use anymore since Hutch launched the scout site) and built up a respectable following after a few months but decided to become a contributor for BtownBanners when I was asked.

The growth of the site has been tremendous and I've loved every second of it.

I think I saw it mentioned on 247. I didn't post much here right away, but with all the grumpy posters starting to take over at 247 I find myself here a lot more now.

I am a skeptic by nature. When HSN "transitioned", I wanted to wait and see what the new site was going to be like before I did any sort of registering. It didn't pass the smell test to me. Dunno where I heard of this place exactly. I think it was linked somewhere to me from a friend from ITH.

 I judge sites based on "spiral effect" of threads. If they get hijacked relentlessly and the end discussion is always the same, I don't hang around. I mean who really wants to hear the same drivel over and over again?
