OT: How did you find us?

Recommended Posts

During times like these the site is likely to get a lot of traffic and I couldn't find a more appropriate thread to bump. But I just wanna say to the guests:

SIGN UP!!!!

The board is a lot of fun to read along with and its even better when you can voice your opinion.

I found btownbanners after googling Indiana sports message boards after I got accepted to the school.

Wait, I thought we were like Lord Voldemort to 247- "The Board Who Shall Not Be Named"....

Someone told me about it in a post that got deleted. Not exactly sure what happened between the mods from HSN 1.0 but they certainly don't like this site. Which is ironic because of why HSN was started in the 1st place.

Never got into ITH or 247 forums because I wasn't a fan of the lack of reliable info. Found this place via twitter and I've stuck around because of ccg, hoosierpap and basketball4iu insider info, plus ElectricBoogaloo's humorous posts. Sent from my place of advanced, analytical thinking: the toilet.

Can someone explain this HSN thing to me either here or via PM? I've seen it referenced a lot lately

Hoosier Sports Nation was formed by disgruntled Scout members. It then moved to 247 when money became too much of an issue. Disgruntled 247/HSN mods then moved here. Some disgruntled members came with them.

Not some....A hell of a lot came over...ie...pretty fair to say most came over..at least us from the old HSN board.  HSN had the same platform we have here.  We all feel very comfortable with it.

Coach Knight had a different (PG-13) word that he found to be splendid and multi-dimensional:

EDIT:  Here's the video I was looking for, so it's not just RMK.  George Carlin was a genius.

Used to always visit peegs, ITH, TCQ for my info. You get info, but peegs and ITH make you pay to have an account and their communities were....sketchy to say the least. Crimson Quarry is free but not many active people. So I must have stumbled onto this site through google or something. Great community, great info, pretty easy site to navigate. Think I'll stick around, at least until you guys get sick of me.
