Sam Ehrlich said the motion to expedite was expected.  To me, it doesn't seem they gave any good reason for the court to grant that motion, but we will see I guess.  Hoping it doesn't affect us this week for sure.  We could get by next week without them if we have to.

The only reason I saw was that they've already got more than they can handle, it's costing the NCAA major bucks and they're getting their butts kicked in most cases.  I hope the court in effect says, you made your bet of shite, now go wallow in it.

At this point it seems petty and vindictive. This is the only year in question. Let the kids play and everything is clear starting next year. What a weird hill for the NCAA to pick to die on.

The NCAA has no idea. 
 

As for myself, I’m kind of entertained by their incompetence and crappy legal strategy. It’s hard to imagine an organization that large and well funded being so incompetent, but as it turns out they’re as comically dumb as everybody assumed over the years.

I've never been to court and have no experience in legal strategies.  But I love hearing that it's a mess lol.

I feel like as soon as the ncaa hired Myles Brand to run it the whole thing has sucked

They won’t have the money or support. They should avoid any more stupid power plays that they’re not smart enough to pull off and just pray the B1G/SEC keep them around in the new (collegiate) world order.

Has nothing to do with eligibility (well, except these four-legged Hoosiers are eligible to be adopted), but according to a Bloomington animal shelter FB post, Daley stopped by yesterday to visit with some of the critters.
