Stuhoo Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Will TJD be there? Gotta think yes, and sitting with Gallo and Leal is also likely. Will TJD wear IU or NTS gear? I’m going with a Tayven NTS jersey and an IU hat. mamasa 1 Quote

While I could see Hoover be better than Fernando at certain aspects of the position, the best one could possibly hope for is that HooHooHoover is excellent, but different. And no one will take a hit or be as durable as Fernando. if everything goes incredibly well? Josh is less physical, doesn’t have as big an arm, but has incredible touch and an incredible ability to read defenses. Home Jersey and go iu bb 2 Quote

That’s fair and practice doesn’t showcase a lot of Mendozas intangibles. But if our D and our RBs are both better who knows maybe we never have to find out how clutch Josh Hoover is TucsonHoosier and go iu bb 2 Quote

First throw of video #2 settles it for me. That’s a wild back shoulder from the oppsoite hash and was Fernando’s 2025 bread and butter to boot. What’s missing with that type of stuff specifically is Sarratt. Becker and Marsh is an elite outside tandem, but 13 was one of one. It’s all picking knits because elite is being replaced by elite. I could definitely see Hoover being ahead of Mendoza at this stage. Mendoza’s took a few games before he settled in. Mendoza also had to overcome getting sacked a ton when at Cal and to trust his line at IU. I would argue that is a longer process than overcoming the picks, at least at this stage Pagoda and jermhoosierfan 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted Monday at 04:35 PM Author Posted Monday at 04:35 PM I certainly don't want Tayven Jackson to have a HOF type game against us but I also don't him to take a serious beating from our defense. mamasa 1 Quote

Artie86 Posted Monday at 10:38 PM Posted Monday at 10:38 PM I love listening to opposing coaches pre game press conferences….. Has anyone found one for N. Texas’, Neal Brown’s thoughts on IU? Quote
