4* out of DC.  He's announcing June 3rd.  He recently moved up his official visit with us to this weekend.  So, if one connects the dots here we've got a good chance.

5'10.5", 210 for a running back. That's prototypical IU bellcow running back size. #478 national composite recruit. Really good get.

I know we have had several RBs visit. But he would be the first RB commit to this class IF the prediction holds.  Aside from our 3 that we know will be in the rotation this season do we have a lot of younger talent in the RB room already?  Will we take another RB in this class?

Yes.

We have one true freshman that our staff said nice things about, and both Khobie and Turbo have multiple years of eligibility.

I'm thinking we will not - the room is getting full with multi-year players.

I guess it should be 100% expected; the 2027 class will be the highest rated class in program history.

I wonder what our highest-ever class was ranked? I remember the years in which we would have sadly had the 6th best class in Conference USA ( no, that is not a joke).

Scout 247 currently has us ranked 31st, with eleven 3*, sandwiched between Syracuse and Kansas State but we will really jump if we land Sales and a couple of other targets.

I feel like that on almost every football "commit" until they actually sign on the dotted line.

Every kid is different. Given the complete Ohio State interest and shunning already, I'd be pretty surprised if Reinaldo Perez flips, but Talley is from DC and seems to know very little about the school he committed to.
