Pagoda Posted May 26 Posted May 26 4* out of DC. He's announcing June 3rd. He recently moved up his official visit with us to this weekend. So, if one connects the dots here we've got a good chance. https://www.on3.com/rivals/dajon-talley-rhodes-269709/ Stuhoo and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

That's prototypical IU bellcow running back size. #478 national composite recruit. Really good get. https://247sports.com/player/dajon-rhodes-46158176/ Class of '66 Old Fart, Lebowski, Pagoda and 1 other 4 Quote
skhoosier2 Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I know we have had several RBs visit. But he would be the first RB commit to this class IF the prediction holds. Aside from our 3 that we know will be in the rotation this season do we have a lot of younger talent in the RB room already? Will we take another RB in this class? Quote

We have one true freshman that our staff said nice things about, and both Khobie and Turbo have multiple years of eligibility. I'm thinking we will not - the room is getting full with multi-year players. Napleshoosier and skhoosier2 1 1 Quote
Demo Posted Monday at 02:41 AM Posted Monday at 02:41 AM Would say that a kid extolling how much he’s looking forward to visiting again when his announcement date is 3 days away seems, I don’t know, pretty promising. rayl456, Class of '66 Old Fart, Stuhoo and 3 others 2 4 Quote
Lebowski Posted Monday at 02:49 PM Posted Monday at 02:49 PM He picked up a couple of crystal ball predictions on 24/7 over the weekend. And On3 currently has him at a 96.3% commitment predication to IUFB. Another DMV area recruit liking what he sees in the 812. Demo, BtownStrength, Jam and 2 others 5 Quote

JSHoosier Posted yesterday at 10:17 PM Posted yesterday at 10:17 PM It's nice getting some more 4* to commit, hopefully they stick to signing day. skhoosier2 and Artie86 2 Quote
Stuhoo Posted yesterday at 10:20 PM Posted yesterday at 10:20 PM I guess it should be 100% expected; the 2027 class will be the highest rated class in program history. Artie86, Lebowski, J34 and 1 other 4 Quote

I wonder what our highest-ever class was ranked? I remember the years in which we would have sadly had the 6th best class in Conference USA ( no, that is not a joke). Scout 247 currently has us ranked 31st, with eleven 3*, sandwiched between Syracuse and Kansas State but we will really jump if we land Sales and a couple of other targets. Quote

Stuhoo Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Based on his signing video I have a sneaking suspicion that he is far from a guarantee to make it to signing day. Quote

I feel like that on almost every football "commit" until they actually sign on the dotted line. skhoosier2 1 Quote

Every kid is different. Given the complete Ohio State interest and shunning already, I'd be pretty surprised if Reinaldo Perez flips, but Talley is from DC and seems to know very little about the school he committed to. skhoosier2 1 Quote
