How ever it shakes out at the next level for all our guys, hopefully they play at least 3 games in 3 different seasons. That's what they need to get on the NFL pension plan.

It’s true: The scout of media talking heads had Kaelon as a sixth rounder.

But the scout of NFL teams, none of who want to pop for a player they can wait for? We have no definitive answer, but the perennial winning SF 49ers clearly thought that if they waited he wouldn’t have been there for them in the 4th round. THAT is the actual and only evidence.

That, and film.

Well, there’s also the actual team evidence of player interviews that revealed a stellar attitude and work habits.

Oh, and a 4.45 time in the 40.

And a 415 bench.

And a 500 squat.

So those things.

At this stage in the draft, they all basically have the same skill sets -- size, speed, etc.  The difference is mindset, work ethic, and attitude.  I'll take Black, Saratt, et. al. over some of these other clowns every day of the week.

So happy for him and ALL the young men who Curt Cignetti took at JMU and who followed him to IU, as well as the young men Coach brought via transfer AND those IU guys who he asked to stay and then helped develop into national champions and potential NFL players.  Lots of dreams being realized.

I want to see him kick some butt behind McCaffery.
