LIHoosier Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Now CBS is shoe horning Nate Burleson into the tournament coverage. All we're missing is Tony Romo popping in and mistaking a point guard for Patrick Mahomes. OliviaPope40 and BannerVille 2 Quote

After he went out it was basically a 2 man team from an offensive perspective. And if Wright has a bad game, like tonight, even a monster performance from Dybantsa wasn't enough to win. Saunders was a bad, bad loss. And there may be some lessons there in roster building in this era. You spent a billion dollars on Dybantsa and Wright and probably to retain Saunders and not a lot on the rest and 1 kid gets hurt and you lose a 1 and done game and Dybantsa’s out the door and Saunders is gone and, yeah, you injected energy into the fanbase but did they actually build towards a sustainable program? I don’t know, but they’ll do the exact same thing next season with Bruce Branch, so I s’pose we’ll see. Crimson and Cream and Class of '66 Old Fart 2 Quote

It's a gamble but for a school of their caliber it's the only way to really have a shot at a title. With Saunders I would've had that team making a nice run. But again, one injury to any of those 3 and you're toast. They needed some sort of production from the post and couldn't get any. Demo 1 Quote
