At least we're not Purdue fans screaming for Painter's job. I've seen a lot of Purdue fans posting that this year. That's why I don't pay attention to the IU fan base being negative talks.

I don't really have any confidence in Devries, but I also think this past coaching search showed us that no one is coming to save IU basketball.  We're gonna have to find a guy who can build something here.  And Devries is getting 3 years at least regardless, so we'll just have to hope he can land enough talent in the portal to win at a level we'd be happy with.

Ironically, I felt like he hit his ceiling at IU and got stale, but in the NIL era Crean would have been interesting. Yet he also failed at UGA.

Crean's time was up. He lost the State and went 1-17 at UGA with a generational talent in Antman. The problem wasn't firing Crean...it was who we hired after. 

The guy we should never had let go was Kelvin. Forget Sweet 16s...we would've had National Titles.

I have little faith in his ability to build a roster. But I think he has adjusted and laid a good foundation with Carr and the assistants to hit a home run in the portal a month from now.

Most fantasies are toxic on social media when they are losing. I’m a Michigan football fan and I see some of what they post when Dusty loses. They love him but they also b.:-: moan and complain.

I still think Devries can be successful at IU. However, I think if McDermott retired, DeVries would be begging Creighton to take him out of the IU pressure cooker.

We had zero chance of winning this game...as I predicted in the score prediction thread. I haven't watched 1 second. Not worth the frustration. Maybe Ryan Carr will make a difference...maybe not...I'd like to think he will. I actually think CDD can coach...the one major concern I have is how on God's Green Earth did he think Bailey and Alexis were the only Big Men we needed. Those two are back-ups in this league...frankly Bailey, isn't even a player in this league. It seemed we all knew it but CDD. I remember all of us expressing our size concern. I was at the K-State game, court level and am 6'4". Even though we won that game, I knew we were in trouble because It seemed like I was standing eye level with most of our team, which isn't good for Big Ten.
