Figured our starting quarterback should have a stand alone thread.

Here is the first interview of Josh I’ve seen since he became a Hoosier; from today inside the Bloomington CVS!

Big shoes to fill but dude has some real talent. Ready to cheer him on

Seems like a good fit and the Dude has played a lot of ball, I expect he'll be really good. He doesn't have to be a Heisman contender to win big. IU should still have a very good running game, defense and special teams. I don't think he had that luxury at TCU. No need for hero ball looking for the big play or forcing it, just be efficient like Rourke & Mendoza and he'll be fine. Excited to see Hoover.

Kurtis Rourke came in and had the greatest year from an IU quarterback ever.  I thought there was no way somebody could top it.

Then of course Fernando Mendoza did.  Could that ever be matched?  Or even close?

Josh has the perfect name, has a ballers game, this will be fun to watch

Doing this interview/autograph event in a CVS cracked me up.  I guess they must sponsor IU and get a set number of events in their stores?  haha.

I'll post some highlights to get this thread going.  Josh has excellent touch on this throws.  Interestingly he's got the 3rd best Heisman odds for next season (+1000).  Only Arch and CJ are ahead of him.

I think our offense if gonna have a lot of pop in the bat next season.

There was an autograph session at the CVS yesterday: Josh, Omar, Tyrique, Khobie, and a very motivated and positive Lee Beebe there and quick hit interviewed. On3 has the clips on YouTube.

Khobie and Tyrique were in the toothpaste section.  Josh was in front of the chew toys.    Omar was in between the candy and the wiper fluid.  Lee was at the front of the store.

Speaking of Lee, can't wait to get him back.

Sadly, Lee was eyeing knee braces. Josh then went to greeting cards looking for a get well soon for Lee.

I presented the other day to 200 admitted IU students and their parents about why they should choose IU. I said “be prepared to cheer on the Hoosiers to another Natty because we’ve got Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoover.” It didn’t land. So I said, “tough crowd for dad jokes.” That worked. I am pumped for Hoover needless to say.
