so firing and hiring 8 different coaches in a decade while shelling out $100+ million in buyout money is the move? If it were up to the adamant fan? My point exactly. Severance pay is arguably the best perk of being the basketball coach in Bloomington.

Delay the inevitable, continue to be mediocre at best. There’s a reason Assembly Hall didn’t sell out all year

If Darian DeVries is serious about making changes and adapting it has to start tomorrow. He needs to have his guy back channeling. He needs to be scouting watching film on guys. He probably should have sit downs early next week. I would be watching every second of film possible. Any recruit that decommits that has upside or talent… I’m reaching out to them and getting them on visits. Realistically if we don’t bring 5/6 players in on top of our recruits we won’t be much better barring getting 3 elite players

what is the guy supposed to do/say?  Our coach sucks right now and we are not happy with him?  It is year 1.  Of course he is going to talk him up.  

I think the Carr hiring has already given some insight into how Dolson really thinks and feels.

I don't think CDD has the fire needed, especially for the Big10.  It seems every other coach has an "ahole" mode.  From the old Franimal to Izzo, to even Collins.  Did you see him when the kid took the hit in the face - he was going to "kill" someone.  Even at the end, he was giving Martinellil the "fk yeah" face.  Not saying CDD has to be a raving lunatic, but at least show you have a pulse.

Most disheartening aspect of this game - really, the last month of this season - is how disjointed this team looked. 
Were there chemistry issues? Seemed like when Conerway came back around the time of the Wisconsin game is when we started to struggle.

I brought it up earlier but I probably wouldn’t have said anything. The timing was weird. Why go out and call your players a steaming pile of garbage when they have tourney games in a couple days?
 

No kidding NW played harder…their coach loves them and their coach and AD didn’t go on the radio and tell the fanbase how awful they were two days earlier. WTF were Dolson and Devries thinking?
