We contemplated trying to get tickets but at the time I looked it was cheaper to go to Ann Arbor than to Bloomington for OSU so we opted to buy UM instead. That was a couple months ago... Quote

He 1st brought it up and I thought nah, it’s Nebraska so there won’t be many seats and the available ones will be a million dollars. I’m 100% sure you’re right, I just bought into all the “they’re all fanatics and they won’t give those tickets up unless you pry them from their cold, dead hands,” stuff and at least at the moment that is just not the deal. If we weren't committed to going to UM already, I would have looked at going to Nebraska. We've been to Ohio Stadium, and I have always wanted to go to the big house. My wife would only go if it was Indiana so I bit the bullet and decided to get tickets for this season knowing it would be an electric atmosphere given Indiana's success and likely top 5 ranking. If they beat OSU week before, it will really be something there to see. My wife still prefers to watch on tv that way when she gets nervous or mad, she can turn the channel LOL She says she may have to leave her seat if things aren't going well or the game is nail biting. The upside for me of Rutgers and Northwestern with our current program is that they both are quasi-IU home games, and they are both a reasonable commuter rail ride away from an extraordinary city to visit for the weekend.
