Banksyrules Posted April 6 Posted April 6 So a person with an Ohio State plate cut me off. As I approached the light and screamed “13-10 @$$*(‘. Go Hoosiers” and drove by as I saw smile turn into a frown. Ahhh it’s fun to be the champs. ALASKA HOOSIER, FortWayneHoosier, Class of '66 Old Fart and 2 others 5 Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Don't know where to post this. Has there been a good discussion or analysis of the national administration second Executive Order on college sports? Trump NCAA executive order, explained: Transfer rule, eligibility update It has no teeth but may prod either the Legislative branch or the NCAA. Right? (Spoiler alert: No) Please delete if against the site rules. Quote

A lot of ND fans legit think they have a claim to the championship by virtue of beating us last year. They like to use that one game as a metric, while ignoring the fact 2025 IU beat the team ND lost to in the 2024 CFP Championship. It's the cherry on top we beat Miami, who coincidentally also beat Texas A&M, both of which were responsible for ND's losses. "Oh but we were playing so well by the end of the season!" Yeah like that could only apply to ND. No one else improved throughout the course of the season. Did I mention they irritate me. johnsoniu, jermhoosierfan and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 1 Quote

As we know, ND has been doing all they can to win another championship since their last one in 1988. Like, maximum institutional effort, and their fans identities include being THE football school in Indiana. To have IU of all teams go 16-0 +479 point diff champs while they decline the Pop-Tarts Bowl was an all time gut punch. It's so damn funny. One thing I'd really really like to happen for '26 is ND not winning it all. They have a very good looking team obviously that could go undefeated with a Heisman and all that. If they can't win it this season, they will not get much relief from what's happening in Bloomington. Last year was a great run for decapitating sh*thead fan bases - Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama and Miami (Oregon fans are actually very chill). For next year’s championship run I would love to mix things up and take out LSU, Georgia and Notre Dame (plus Michigan twice - regular season and Big Ten championship). BtownStrength 1 Quote

I’d prefer not to play OSU twice in a season, and I’m getting a little tired of seeing us beat the crap out of Oregon. Some variety wouldn’t hurt haha. CSP 1 Quote

I’d prefer we play three CFP games again instead of four, but if four…we can add Texas and just smack three SEC teams in a row. Notre Dame is #1 for who needs a beat down from us though, so they can’t be dropped. Hollywood Mike Miranda, CSP and jermhoosierfan 3 Quote
