Same. If it’s a cost issue (unclear) I’m down to help out. On HSN when I modded over there some of the the mods were involved with keeping the site up.

Maybe if the owner won’t give access to those pages the mods can create a new twitter name to update us. Something like BtownBannersTheFootballSchool or something

If you are in need of technical assistance I can try to take a look/give some input. I imagine it's more a problem that can't be solved by the mods and only the site owner can fix it but I'm a systems engineer so if it is a question of how to fix, I might be of service.

Your offer is greatly appreciated but unfortunately, it is/was a problem beyond the mod capabilities to fix.  Required site credentials which only the site owner has.

You know how great it can be to walk into grandma,’s house at thanksgiving and all your favorite cousins are there?  You can smell the food cooking, see the pies and if like my family you always left with the guys to play basketball once full. Family. 
 

But some years you go to the other side of the family.  You know, they are nice and all but the cousins aren’t your favorite ones. The food is kinda meh and instead of playing basketball after eating everyone is asleep on the couch and you can’t find the remote to at least watch football. 
 

That is what it is like going to other forums when this site goes down. I love grandmas and you guys are the best cousins.

The mods have been dumping a ton of very very old threads. Seems as though it is a storage issue and this will likely help. Fingers crossed.

Seems a bit problematic if there's only one site owner and no designated "second in command" type of person. Maybe there is though?

It would appear that the current/ongoing series of outages would be the perfect opportunity for the site owner to recognize this single point of success. Clearly he's losing advertising revenue from these events.

Would the issue potentially be easier to fix with a more responsive owner? And if so, do we know if the owner is open to selling? 

Big thanks to the mod team for keeping us in the loop and doing what can be done to keep the lights on. The extended down time really showed a lot of us what a loss it would be to not have "this thing of ours" anymore.
