Saw a lot of speculation about Hoover and IU and some good reasons why we would not likely be talking $ yet with portal guys.  But ESPZYN I think is a little more reputable

Yeah he is getting drafted. NFL talent and he seems ready from a physicality standpoint.

According to SI.com he's the 101st ranked prospect or WR # 13. This would put him in the mid-rounds. He certainly could go pro but he could come back with a premier NIL package.

Let me preface by saying, I would be happy with Hoover. I think he would be a good addition.

My only concern/s with Hoover is his height. Seems like Cig (as do I), prefers the 6'3"+ qbs in the Big Ten, (see Rourke and Mendoza). Hoover is not that.

Admittedly, I didn't watch a ton of his games, but in the two games I watched TCU, he didn't look off his primary WR (never went through progressions). Hopefully, that was just an anomaly, but if not, could explain his 13 interceptions.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Cooper come back as the #1 with a chance to improve his draft stock. I also wouldn't be shocked if he goes after this year.

Hoover reportedly has eyes that are unusually high on his head, allowing for vision that exceeds expectations for his height.

From his original CTA IU scouting report:

6’1” but has the eye level of a 6’3” player. Having eyes above his hairline requires the player  to keep his head shaved or has vision impairment. Problem could take care of itself over time.

Anyone have any intel on what is shying away Monshun Sales from picking IU when it’s in his own backyard?......really wanted  this stud 6'5" Wr. Thanks.

It’s not direct intel, but he grew up in Alabama.  Moved to Indiana a few years ago.  So, his original connection is actually to Bama.
