And I think our transfer portal haul shows that. Just because we aren’t willing to pay up for freshmen doesn’t mean kids wouldn’t be willing to come here if we did. I’d be willing to bet we paid up…. I said we have the backing if we need it and it looks like that’s the case Quote

If so….thats absolutely crazy but thank you to whomever ponied up. Pagoda 1 Quote

If so….thats absolutely crazy but thank you to whomever ponied up. Hmm... if true I can see how it makes sense. Top WRs are making a lot: Cam Coleman is getting ~$3M+ this year, Jeremiah probably close to $5M. I don't know Nick Marsh's number... whatever it was it stopped him from taking the ND visit. Of course you have to bet on Monshun developing, which with Cig & Co you've got to like your chances, but if he does thinking about it by year as something like $1.5M Yr1, $2.5M Yr2, $3M Yr3... it starts to make sense on a roster that is in the mid-$30M range and going higher. Just thinking about it: assuming he signs, we've got a big upside guy in a position of need. Not that we need a ton of help with this, but he's a nice piece for the next portal QB to consider (if we go that route). And lastly he's a signal to future 5* recruits that Indiana can do the high end recruiting thing too when we like someone, we're not just a 3* development factory. Pretty fun stuff! Stuhoo Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago A great read/comparison by Schumann. Clearly, Sales is not a sure thing like a guy like Becker for the coming season, but if Cig thinks Sales is worth the budget hit who are we to even remotely argue!! https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/is-iu-football-commit-monshun-sales-a-sure-thing-heres-how-recent-top-high-school-wrs-performed/ taco corp, Brass Cannon, Class of '66 Old Fart and 1 other 4 Quote

If we ripped out Bama’s soul, then we shot the Ducks from the Atlanta sky, had our hunting dog chew on the carcass as he was retrieving it, and fillet and roasted what was left on a spit. Quote
