RoadRage Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 So does Chris Beard have to make the final 4 this season before the Beard haters on this forum will admit he is a helluva coach? :-) Zcorey92, AKHoosier, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 3 1 Quote

It would take more than this tournament to change my mind. It looks like it could be a relatively easy path to the E8. UNC in the first round. Iowa St is a good win. MSU isn't very good of a 2 seed and is very beatable (they lost at home to Woodson ffs). Then they'll probably play an SEC team in the E8 if they get there so that familiarity could go either way. NashvilleHoosier Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 https://givetoathletics.com/ For the inevitable Beard nonsense tonight. He’ll be at a program like Ole Miss forever. Even if he gets hired by UNC next season, he’ll be back at Ole Miss in no time. Best of luck! Muskie plays the four 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 28, 2025 Posted March 28, 2025 I enjoy watching Big Ten teams get worked. Unfortunate that the tradeoff tonight is the Beard fanboys making an appearance. thebigweave and Pagoda 2 Quote

DChoosier Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 I can’t stand Izzo’s constant whining but man I would like to see a Big Ten team finally win the natty. I’d be ok with MSU or UM (although that would be a Royal kick in the nuts) winning it all for the Big Ten. Unfortunately I think MSU, even though they had a nice comeback, loses by 8-12. That being said…….I will never pull for PU to win the natty. Never. Ever. RoadRage and thebigweave 2 Quote

Also May is an alum and seems like a good dude, so I could root for it. I don’t think they’re good enough though. I don’t think MSU shoots well enough either. TheWatShot Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 I could see Michigan in the Final Four, because that team has 9 lives this season and they just have that "it" factor. I think Florida would probably handle them there. Quote

To me take out those two years at TT he is a little above average coach. His conference record in the power 5 is below average Quote
