IUHoosier5 Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Big 3 by Goode before half. 10 is nothing this team cannot overcome. The question is will they take care of the basketball and play D Home Jersey and Whoozhers 2 Quote

RoadRage Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Rice had a great stretch during that half, but then he got sloppy! IUHoosier5 and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote

Hoosier987 Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 What’s frustrating and impacts our metrics with Woodson is that we’re not close in so many of these losses. If we could just keep it close and show fight but this has another double digit loss written all over it. And we’re losing to mediocre teams like Nebraska and now likely Iowa Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Goode strikes me as a pretty smart ballplayer. That's why I cannot figure out what the eff he was doing when one of our dudes (can't remember who) made a bad pass that went into the backcourt. Goode was trying to keep the Iowa kid away from the ball. No matter who touched the ball first, Iowa was gonna get it. Goode's mind numbing play gave Iowa an easy bucket. JUST GRAB THE DAMN THING. Was one of the dumber things I've seen in a while. RoadRage and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

Yes salaries do matter but I’m not going to watch the Commanders vs Bucs playoff game tomorrow and evaluate their respective team and individual salaries. Just seems to be an unusually big deal when it comes to IU basketball. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Lol. Getting Ran by Mediocre Fran. Being an Indiana basketball stinks. 19-12 season incoming. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Napleshoosier 1 Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Rice is carrying us. Ballo is a turnover no show. He has to get it going. No effort by Woodson/staff to spread the floor, none. Goode’s shot came on a last second decision by Ballo to hand it back. Goode should be a key part of the game plan. Just amazing Quote

TTT Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Coach at half: well, if that last beyond half court heave goes in at the end of the half we would be 3 points closer. Man, that was a tough break. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Not good ball movement but a lot of that is standing around. Bryson Tucker's shot selection is just so bad. Fade away shots and missed three point shots. The fact that he's just under 40% for the season show he can score because you shouldn't hit 40% of the shots he's taking.....but HE HAS TO BE TAUGHT TO TAKE BETTER SHOTS. Iowa isn't good defensively but they are taking away guys who could thrive in a game like this. Galloway...no shots. Goode has two. I love love love Leal but man he has to look at the basket....at least present himself as a perimeter threat. He's definitely a positive and right now they need him in but his ceiling is higher if he just hits a couple of shots. Quote

JF87 Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Any chance it won't be the starting 5 out there to start the second half? LOL, I know the answer. I would be shocked if Woody started the guys that were playing well. Quote
