Class of '66 Old Fart

IUBB vs USC - Wednesday, 01.08.25 @ 7:00 on BTN

Mike truly has to adjust his philosophy when Reneau comes back. This 4-1 offense works, and he said prior to season start he hoped he could use. Well, Mike, you can!

Still, dreaming of a 35% 3P shooting Reneau and what it would do for this team and lineup combinations…

What in the scheduling sorcery did they do to our Hoosiers?!

Yeah, three conference games in seven days and five in thirteen days.

What's strange is that IU hosts UCLA on February 14th and then gets eight days off before they host Purdue on the 23rd.

And yet Reneau will still play down on the low block

Looks like I don’t know how to post a tweet on this site

It’s really fickle. There are ways to do it, but it isn’t easy. It happened when Twitter’s domain changed to X and there doesn’t appear to be a fix.

Fair.
Also, if we did a board fundraiser…how much would we need to raise annually to get rid of all ads? Love the site otherwise…but it gets clunky on mobile

It will be interesting to see what happens when MR comes back.

Prior to tonight MR has averaged 24 minutes a game and Ballo 29. Woody has sometimes had both of them on the bench at the same time (which I don’t understand).

Low hanging fruit would be to NEVER sit both of them at the same time. That  alone, if they both continue to play 24 and 29 minutes, would result in 68% (27 minutes) of the game with just one big in at a time.

Time for my favorite pro tip: If you’re on iPhone, download the AdBlock Pro app and set it up to work on Safari. This site runs like a dream with that. All fundraiser funds can be directed to my personal Venmo thank you.

I liked the way Woody coached tonight.
Ballo & Rice played well along with Goode.

love the senior leadership mixed with the youth of Rice & Tucker.
Mgbako had an off night which is ok, rode the bench which hopefully motivate him.
Malik has to just backup Ballo when he comes back.
5 of the next 7 on the road. That will determine the season.

CHRIS007 is back!   11111!

We were sleepwalking, especially defensively until Carlyle came in.

He's currently completely broken offensively but he’s a piece that can really help us down the road.

Agree he's playing hard and competing defensively.

Here's my observation on Carlyle. What percentage of his shot attempts would you classify as "good shots"? Maybe 10%? Almost every shot he takes is a difficult pull-up jumper. Kid needs to keep the ball moving and just do the dirty work for a while.
