I think that we might do good this season.

Still too sloppy in many aspects, but we have enough talent if deployed properly we could make the tourney.

Good win, now let’s do the thing that makes sense and not start both Malik and Ballo or sub one as soon as we can after tip. They’d be such a killer 1-2 punch with one coming off the bench. It would probably help Malik stay on the floor and pick up less fouls.

Yes. We are clearly better with 1 big…I hope Woodson sees this. When MR is back, he needs to come off the bench.

Haven’t watched USC at all this season, how do they look?

Not great.  Only one true road game and they are 9-5.  Poor rebounding team and hit threes okay but take even less than IU.

I just really, really hope Woodson recognizes how much better the team is running 1 true big in the front court.

Shot more 3’s, showed we can hit them when it’s not a play through the post game with 2 bigs. Clearly better when playing like this. Woodson, learn from this, don’t just lazily, stubbornly resort to your same style when Malik returns

The only thing I know about them is that their lineup is full of long wingys. Surprised to hear they don’t rebound well.

We’re better in defensive rotations without Reneau but the offense was AWFUL in the first half. That’s where you need a guy like Reneau in the half court. Offense was much better in the 2H, primarily due to beating their full court pressure. Going to need Reneau when B10 teams inevitably muck it up and force the game to be played in the half court.

Good win. Thought we might cough it up, but guys showed some grit and finished.

Not sure how to feel about this win.  Definitely, a gritty win.  Any Big Ten road win is a great win, so ultimately that's a positive.  However, I'm not sure if we won the game or Penn State lost it with their poor shooting from three and the free throw line.  Hoping we've turned a corner with this team.  The talent is there.

So expect them to play above their average then on Tuesday?

LOL what on Earth does this mean? The team who scored more points and shot better won? No way!

Their 3 PT shooting was a factor, however, they missed a lot of wide open works and felt like they were allowing anything underneath the basket in the 2H.
